A Day with the Experts: An Intensive Training for SLPs

In this seminar, practical strategies for evaluating and treating clients with fluency disorders (cluttering, stuttering, and/or atypical disfluency) and concomitant diagnoses will be covered. Evaluation and treatment strategies and activities for those with diagnoses including autism spectrum, ADHD, selective mutism, intellectual disability, learning disability, articulation disorders, and gifted and talented will be presented. Dr. Scaler Scott is an associate professor of Speech-Language Pathology at Misericordia University and a practicing clinician. She is co-author of “Managing Cluttering: A Comprehensive Guidebook of Activities” and the forthcoming book, “Fluency Plus: Managing Fluency Disorders in Individuals with Multiple Diagnoses.”
