Attention all Scouts! Due to overwhelming popular demand, Edelman Fossil Park of Rowan University will be hosting a “We DIG Scouts” event on Saturday, June 1st, 2019. This event will give scouts of ages and ranks opportunities to work towards the requirements of earning belt loops, pins, badges and patches geared towards paleontology, geology, nature, and the environment.

Many scouts will be working towards their Geo Merit Badge, Geology Belt Loop, Earth Rocks! Badge, Rocks Rock! Badge, and many more!

Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Paul Ullmann - Rowan University Paleontologist, Geology Assistant Professor, and Eagle Scout. Paul and his team will work with the scouts in compliance with the requirements to work towards earning the badges, pins, or loops mentioned above.

*Distribution of badges, pins, or belt loops will not take place during the event, and will only occur upon approval by your Scoutmaster that you have completed all the necessary requirements. Please see your Troop Leaders for more information. All scouts will receive a certificate of participation. Troop Leaders do not have to be present, but participation is encouraged.
