AWE

The AWE program at Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering ignites a passion for engineering in middle school girls (6th-8th grades during the 2023-2024 school year). Through hands-on labs and engaging workshops, girls explore diverse engineering paths and discover their potential to shape the future. Summer 2024 marks the 24th year of AWE, empowering young minds and complementing the college's BEST program for boys.

Highlights:

• Hands-on learning: Real-world projects spark curiosity and build confidence.
• Exposure to various engineering disciplines: Discover the diverse applications and possibilities in engineering.
• Mentorship from faculty, staff, and students: Learn from role models and gain valuable insights from current engineering students.
• Building a strong foundation: Cultivate an early interest in STEM fields and collaborate with like-minded peers.
