Are you a budding young recording artist or future recording engineer? Or do you want to produce some of your own music? If so, join Ben Runyon, Adjunct Professor of Music Technology in Rowan University’s Music Industry program for a five-week workshop, Empowering Your Creativity through Music Technology, to improve your understanding and use of Apple Logic Pro X. Workshop content will include an introduction to electronic music production, designing beats and sampling, song structure and melodies, synthesis and sound design. Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to create their own projects using Rowan’s state-of-the-art music technology resources.
Empowering Your Creativity through Music Technology will be held on 5 consecutive Saturdays beginning October 5, 2019 and ending November 2, 2019. Workshop hours will be from 10:00am till 12:00pm and will be held in Room 108 of Wilson Hall. The workshop is open to high school age students and adults and will be led by Ben Runyon, Adjunct Professor of Music Technology at Rowan University. The workshop is limited to 15 registrants. Workshop attendees will improve their understanding and use of Apple Logic Pro X, and cover the following topics: Introduction to Electronic Music Production, Designing Beats/Sampling, Song Structure/Melodies, Synthesis & Sound Design. Students will be given ample time to during the workshop to work on their own projects
